1. About IFSCCodes.io

IFSCCodes.io is an independent informational directory that helps users find Indian bank IFSC codes, MICR codes and branch details. The website is not a bank, payment service, financial adviser, the Reserve Bank of India, the National Payments Corporation of India, a government authority or an agent of any bank.

References to banks, logos, branch names and payment systems are for identification and informational purposes. Unless expressly stated, no bank or government body sponsors, endorses or operates this website.

2. Informational use only

Content on this website is provided for general information and convenience. It is not financial, legal, tax, investment or professional advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice where needed.

IFSC and branch information can change because of branch openings, closures, relocations, mergers, bank reorganisations, system updates or corrections. Although we use verification and quality-control processes, we do not guarantee that every record is complete, current or error-free at all times.

3. Your responsibility to verify

Before relying on any IFSC, MICR, branch address, contact detail or payment-service indicator, you must independently verify it with the beneficiary, the relevant bank, an official bank website, a cheque issued by the branch or an appropriate Reserve Bank of India source.

You are solely responsible for the information you enter into a payment instruction and for confirming the intended recipient. IFSCCodes.io does not hold funds, initiate transfers, verify account ownership, provide beneficiary confirmation or have access to your banking transaction.

4. Permitted use

You may use the website for personal, internal business, research and reference purposes, subject to these Terms. You may link to public pages when the link is accurate and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

5. Prohibited use

You must not:

• use the website for fraud, impersonation, phishing, money laundering or any unlawful purpose;
• submit account passwords, PINs, OTPs, card details or confidential banking credentials;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, servers, databases or administrative systems;
• introduce malware, overload the service, bypass rate limits or interfere with security controls;
• scrape, harvest, reproduce or redistribute the database at a scale that harms the service, violates law or creates a competing misleading service;
• misrepresent IFSCCodes.io data as official bank advice or as a guarantee that a payment destination is correct;
• remove notices, source information, attribution or technical protections;
• use automated systems in a manner that unreasonably burdens the website.

We may restrict or block access that appears abusive, automated at harmful volumes, unlawful or unsafe.

6. Data sources and corrections

We use bank and branch data obtained from sources we consider reliable, including Reserve Bank of India and official bank information where available. Our methods are described on the Data Sources page.

If you identify an error, please use the Report Incorrect IFSC Details page. We may request an official bank or regulatory source before changing a record. We decide whether and how to publish a correction based on the evidence available.

7. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not make warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation or freedom from harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IFSCCodes.io and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunity arising from use of or reliance on the website.

We are not responsible for losses caused by an incorrect payment instruction, an outdated or mistyped IFSC, beneficiary fraud, bank processing, service interruption, third-party content or a failure to independently verify information. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

9. Third-party websites

The website may contain links to banks, regulators, government bodies and other third parties. We do not control their content, availability, security or policies. You access third-party websites at your own risk, and their terms and privacy policies apply.

10. Intellectual property

The website design, original text, software, presentation, selection and arrangement of content are owned by or licensed to IFSCCodes.io and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Bank names, marks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property. Reasonable quotations and links are allowed where legally permitted and accurately attributed.

11. User submissions

When you submit a correction, message or supporting information, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant us a non-exclusive right to use the submitted information to investigate, verify, respond to and correct website content.

Do not submit confidential, defamatory, unlawful or personally sensitive information that is not necessary for the request.
